DevPaste is a zero-knowledge, end-to-end encrypted secret-sharing service provided by DevStudioAl (devstudioal.com). The service allows users to create encrypted pastes that can be shared via a unique URL.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DevPaste, including the website, API, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
You must be at least 16 years of age to use DevPaste. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you confirm that you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.
If you are using DevPaste on behalf of an organisation or business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You agree to use DevPaste only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. The Service is designed for sharing sensitive but legitimate information such as passwords, API keys, credentials, and configuration data.

DevPaste is designed so that we cannot read the content of your pastes. The encryption key never reaches our server. This means:
You are entirely responsible for the content you encrypt and share. The zero-knowledge design does not grant immunity from legal liability. If you use DevPaste to commit or facilitate a crime, you remain fully liable under applicable law.
DevPaste is open-source software released under the MIT License. The source code is available at github.com/DevStudioAl/devpaste.
The DevPaste name, DevStudioAl name, and associated branding and logos are the property of DevStudioAl. You may not use them without written permission except as required to accurately identify the Service (for example, in attribution).
You retain all rights to the content you encrypt and store through the Service.
DevPaste is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
Because pastes are automatically deleted after their expiry period, you should not rely on DevPaste as a long-term or permanent storage solution. Always keep a separate copy of critical information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevStudioAl disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to DevPaste at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law — to the extent technically feasible given the zero-knowledge architecture.
Because we cannot read paste content, termination actions are limited to blocking access by paste ID or IP address. You may also voluntarily stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to DevStudioAl's place of operation, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of DevPaste after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We will not retroactively apply more restrictive terms to pastes that were already created before the change.
